This is somewhat based in reality actually. There were some odd power-struggles in our little group at times, usually between those two. they rarely erupted into full-on fist-fights, but there was some shoving and pushing involved.
I guess it's a thing of honor who is declared the sadder dork. ^_^

Man, that was CLASSIC!!! I think any RPG will consist of those types of altercations when the DM doesn't keep the rule books at grabing distance and willingly doesn't check the facts whenever he's called out on it. I hate those types of DMs, taking every player for a monkey! They deserve for their players to walk out on them and out of their mom's basement and find other DMs if not to become some themselves.

Oh well, I don't see it that drastically. Tempers get heated on both sides no matter what you play, especially when you pull an all-nighter. Rules are always somewhat debatable, especially back in the olden days of D&D. And in the end, what the DM says, goes. We had a lot of house-rules, but none that came up out of the blue.
Again, there is a lot of embellishment here for the sake of comedy. ^_^
