Effigy_Power Yeah... running is a reflex that seems often prudent, yet is often ignored by roleplayers.

Also, the Beholder's eye down in the ritual's cloud is, if I may say so, amazing. And probably never going to be replicated. Ah well.

In my first DnD game, I was the only person to run the hell away when things got tough. I left my group in the dungeon.

I got more money from begging during the character's spare time than the rest of the party made in loot. It was lulz.

Magravan This is sooooo true... On NWN it's even worse, I think... There are so many times where you want to set up an unwinnable situation, but the players just stand around and die, and then complain "Oh, you made it too hard!!"

Of course, I don't know how often I ever ran as a player either, so .... :D

Oh, the comic was great too, it made me laugh and brought back memories ;)

Skrael Besides what everyone else has said, I'm really lovin' the art on this one.

Effigy_Power I guess it's hard to feel actual fear of death when you are playing Ganthor, the Elven Ranger... Not to mention that a lot of DM's cuddle their groups and nobody ever dies, which of course takes the whole point of having hitpoints right out.

@Skrael: Thanks, I kinda felt I phoned this one in, even if it was quite a bit of work. I was trying to make it look somewhat like the old GTA-games... just without cars flattening people.
