(lol yes, all you have to show me is those thingies there and i think of steampunk already...sad.)

Well, I am not revealing a lot here, but I will throw out some pointers.

Steampunk is a pretty good guess, what with the technical aspect of the Promo, the drawings and whatnot.
It will feature a lot of flying, I think the name sufficiently indicates that...

I haven't played Skies of Arcadia, but I assume it somewhat on the same wavelength, however "Harsh Skies" will feature it's own world, characters and stories, far more so than Rise of Floon, which is very clearly based on the usual D&D worlds.
Harsh Skies will also feature not only a story-line from the origins of the characters, instead of watching their grand finale in RoF, it will also feature a 5th player, thus making for more interaction.

I am announcing Harsh Skies for Fall. I am planning on releasing it in late summer, but I think it's better to bet on the safe side here. Rest assured, it will blow RoF out of the water like a dead wombat.

nah, i just am kinda into steampunk a bit at the moment lol
skies of arcadia was awesome btw. they were flying around in those airships that looked like pirate ships :D anyways some of those characters even were sky pirates...it was awesome! i really miss stories like that D:

Well, needless to say, there will be lots of Steampunk, a very limited amount of Dieselpunk, plenty of piracy, freebooting, swashbuckling, keelhauling and all other sorts of ye olde stuff.
Just... you know... flying.
