You didn't really think they would have a problem landing on the rock, did you? ^_^ What heroes would we have here?

Lucren and Valtharian are somewhat evenly matched, but since Val is very much surprised by all of this, Lucren will take the initiative... in this case both because of his natural celerity and because Zac was prone to forget the game-mechanics when the action started.

I really love this background... it was a lot of work, but I will copy that bitch until we can't see it anymore. ^_^

@Fingerwitch: Yeah, it was a bit of work to hand-draw it, but it payed off. It won't look so good anymore after the 5th page using it tho... ^_^

He dropped his dagger?! Points for reusing the background rather than just using the Darkness blot and red eyes ;)

Yeah, there was a whole panel of the two landing on the rock a bit harsher, but it just looked a bit too Benny Hill... so I altered it.
I suppose it would be slippery, what with the ocean and all. Also I was never really happy with the dagger anyways, so this was the best opportunity to get rid of it.

PS: The red eyes with black background thing never occurred to me... sure would have made things easier. ^_^
